Net Worth Statements

Senator Manuel Villar, Jr. and Rep. Cynthia Villar (Las Piñas, Lone District) are still the wealthiest legislators with a combined net worth of P620.7 million, without liabilities. This is based on their 2004 statement of assets, liabilities and net worth. Public officials are required by RA 6713 (Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees) to file their SALNs annually on or before April 30th.

Senator Villar was followed by Senators Ralph Recto (P241.0 million), Ramon Magsaysay, Jr. (P153.6 million), Ma. Ana Consuelo "Jamby" Madrigal (P118.1 million), and Ramon Revilla, Jr. (P104.6 million). Down the line with the lowest net worth were Senators Juan Flavier (P2.0 million), Manuel Lapid (P10.1 million), Alfredo Lim (P10.5 million), Joker Arroyo (P11.0 million) and Aquilino Pimentel, Jr. (P13.1 million).

Next to Congresswoman Villar at the House of Representatives were Reps. Iggy Arroyo (Negros Occidental,5th District), P286.2 million; Judy Syjuco (Iloilo,2nd District); P254.6 million; Ferjenel Biron (Iloilo,4th District), P227.0 million; and Juan Edgardo Angara (Aurora,Lone District), P112.4 million. Those with the lowest declared net worth were Reps. Joel Virador (Bayan Muna), P34,500.00; Rafael Mariano (Anakpawis), P46,480.49; Crispin Beltran (Anakpawis), P95,200.00; Hermilando Mandanas (Batangas,2nd District), P137,497.00; and Teodoro Casiño (Bayan Muna), P307,900.00.
